Oracle Apps DBA

Description

Walgreen currently has a consulting company that is upgrading them from Oracle EBusiness Suite release 11 to release 12. They just lost their senior resource on their team that was working with this vendor to ensure it is a successful upgrade. They are looking to replace this individual ASAP. This individual will come in and work with this vendor on a daily basis regarding communication on status. They will mentor and coach the one Oracle EBusiness DBA as their skills are very junior. They will do administration on the following order management, inventory management and purchasing. They will also be responsible for administration on a custom application which is for their specialty pharmacy group and is for their mail order business. This application houses all of the information on patients and physicians on the specialty pharmaceuticals (ie. HIV, Rheumatoid arthritis, MS etc. medications). It tracks their dosage and then reminds individuals in their call centers to call the patients and see if they are having side effects. Since the upgrade is being handled by the consulting company this individual will be doing 100% administration on these parts of the ebusiness suite and this custom application.
