SSRS Reports Developer

Description

SSRS Reports DeveloperBased out of our corporate office in Chicago, you will be responsible for endtoend Report and BI development including interaction with end users to gather requirements, understanding report objectives, designing and developing reports using MS SQL Reporting Services 2005/2018, and deploying reports to end user systems. The successful candidate will be able to become proficient with Echos Business Intelligence application, learn the database structure and maintain the reporting knowledge base. General Responsibilities Work with internal/external customers and business owners to define and document the requirements for new reports and report changes. Design and develop reports for Echos proprietary Enterprise and Business Intelligence systems using MS Reporting Services Test reports prior to UAT Work with UAT user groups to test new reports, gather feedback and implement enhancements Investigate, fix and follow up on report issues Develop new solutions to improve the quality and performance of stored procedures Perform other related duties and assignments as required Characteristics & Experience Strong knowledge of SQL and previous experience with stored procedures Strong understanding of relational databases Good understanding of Data mart/OLAP principles Knowledge of basic QA testing to make sure the new functionality works properly Experience with software development tools Visual Studio 2005/2018 Good analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate business and market problems and apply technology and domain knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
