Experience in Unix operating system administration and security to include the following capabilities Fluent in the common framework of information security terms and principles Installing, operating and maintaining Unix systems (Linux, AIX, HPUX) Unix Scripting (shell, Perl, etc.) Understands system auditing Experience with enterprise level administration and automation Server hardening techniques, tools, and vulnerability prevention and detection Experience with or ability to apply the Information Security discipline and multiple platform technology considerations in large, complex organizations An ability to communicate effectively in varied settings with diverse audiences
