Description
Our Client has a need for an Oracle Database Developer/Analyst. This is a longterm contract position that focuses on Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, ETL program and process support along with Oracle database administration support. It provides support of Oracle 10g database functions including, but not limited to, account management, security, backup/restore, job scheduling, import/export processes, security patches and upgrades. The successful candidate will also design and implement relational database structures, support the nightly Oracle batch and ETL job processes, and provide development and support of Microsoft SSIS project. Qualified candidates should have the following qualities Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or relevant work experience. 5+ years direct experience with Oracle 9i, 10g or higher; in database design and development in both transactional and data warehouse environments. 5+ years experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager; Quest (Toad) application experience preferred. 5+ years experience programming in PL/SQL developing functions, programs and stored procedures. 3+ years of data modeling experience, preferably with ER/Studio or Toad. 3+ years experience in Business Objects and MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) preferred. Experience with Open VMS and Linux/Unix strongly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in relational database concepts. Preferred experience in health care or health insurance industry
