Job Description Seeking an extremely motivated selfstarting frontend Web developer with strong experience in dynamic websites and CMSdriven websites in a Linux/MySQL/Apache setting. Knowledge of EZ Publish CMS is an extreme plus. Candidate should showcase an acute ability to translate business requirements into workable, reusable, and scalable code. An emphasis on B2B and B2C ecommerce functionality is a major plus.Work responsibilities will include but not be limited to participation in the requirements/analysis phase of new projects, translation of requirements to use cases and user stories, lowlevel detail review and implementation of User Interface design and Copy, development of web pages for new projects, and troubleshooting production problems and occasional support of production releases. The daytoday activities are to support frontend applications with minimal middleware needs while some high level knowledge of SQL queries will be useful. Experience Must be an expert in (X)HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, comfortable with Linux/UNIX, manipulating the DOM, cross browser compatibility, and be willing to work in an extremely fastpaced work environment. Experience with JSP, Apache, mySQL, Change Management software (Mercurial, CVS, SubVersion), XML/XSLT and a JavaScript/AJAX (Prototype, jQuery) framework a strong plus. Highlevel knowledge of site architecture/IA will be extremely useful but is not a daytoday requirement.Candidate must have strong communication skills, superb time management, excellent people skills and be able to work in a team environment as well as be able to be a selfstarter
