Description
This position requires indepth knowledge of Cognos from an overall architecture level including building Cognos metadata, dashboards and reports in a multitenant, SaaS environment. It also requires knowledge of data warehouse concepts including star schema's, dimensions and fact tables. This position requires the ability to create Cognos metadata and to be able to setup that metadata to be highly optimized and user friendly. We are not looking for a Cognos report developer but rather someone that can help architect the environment. Metadata and framework manager modeling Experience with working with Cognos SDK, Customization JAVA Custom Authentication Provider Development in SDK Dashboards and Custom Reporting In depth knowledge of Cognos Studio is required. This contractor will assist us in the development of a Cognos based Reporting system using Oracle data warehouse as the repository.
