Description
The AIX skill set needed is 58 years minimum experience with AIX 5.3 and 6.1Experience with AIX 5.3 and 6.1 patching, installation, security and tuningExperience with virtualization with both midrange (520570 and enterpriselevel 575 and 595) pSeries serversExperience in LPARS, DLPARS, NPIV, LPM and VIOS 2.1, Active Memory Sharing, Multiple Shared CPU pools, Shared Ethernet AdaptersExperience scripting in bash, ksh and PerlExperience with IBM BladeCenter blades, JS22/23 and IVMs, Brocade switchesExperience with clientside EMC storage support and PowerPath/MPIOExperience working with vendor licensing and maintenance contracts Experience writing and proofing procedural technical documentation With 58 years experience, a candidate should be able to effectively maintain the current running environment and make minor changes via the VIO servers and HMC servers. Primary among duties will be the addition and deletion of assigned EMC storage via NPIV for new system installations
