Network Administrator

Description

Job Summary A level 2 Network Administration position within the Network team. The responsibilities include, setting up, configuring, and supporting internal and/or external networks. Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan. Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. Provides technical support and guidance to users when level 1 is unable to solve. Expected to lead and coordinate projects as they come up based on expertise and experience. Gather information regarding buisiness IT needs from development and help define project flow. Determine task flow and orientation. Assists the manager and others in determining priority, deadlines and targets. Responsible for uptime and ensuring data reliability and security.Essential Job Functions Assist and act as a Lead Project Manager for Windows and Network related initiatives as needed, Help maintain besteffort uptime of companycritical systems Report incidents and issues to IT management to ensure proper attention to detail Assist in overall DR testing and lead portions of the Disaster Recovery testing Recommend enhancements to Windows infrastructure Assist and at times lead the research and develop service improvements and design future network service architecture
