Oracle DBABuild and remediate Oracle databasesBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology. 5 + years Oracle DB (10G 11G) Design5+ years RDBMS installation, upgrades, administration, configuration and tuning5 + years Oracle SQL Stored Procedure design5 + years SQL Statement Designs5 + years VERITAS Volume Manger 5 + years Hitachi and EMC SAN5 + years VERITAS file systems5+ years Oracle ASM 5+ years Oracle Real Application Cluster3+ Oracle Replication (Streams, Golden Gate)5+ years solid skills in database performance factors, monitoring tools and tuning procedures Knowledge and practical experience with AIX, SUN Solaris, Linux, LDAP, Proficient Shell scripting skillsDisplay a good understanding of both the RDBMS and the underlying operating system including but not limited to Database performance tuning, replication, Data Guard, High Availability (Oracle RAC), monitoring tools and tuning procedures.Strong database management skills including backup and recovery best practices in a highavailability environment.Solid skills in productivity factors and the ability to understand impact of problem on overall database performance
