Technical Knowledge 7+ years experience designing and building enterprise application integration or web service solutionsExperienced in IBM WebSphere Message Broker, MQ, J2EE, Web Services, JMS, ESQL, DB2, OracleHandson experience developing messageoriented solutions using MQ & JavaFirm understanding of concepts and technologies such as SOA, Messaging, Transformation Engines, Web Services, and Data Integration techniquesStrong knowledge of WAS Server and Datapower, WSSecurity, SAML and web services standardsIn depth working knowledge of AIX/Windows, including scripting and core developmentVersion control systems, ex. CVSNT, SVN or ClearCaseTesting tools ex. RFHUTIL, JUnit, Load Runner, SOAP UI, XMLSPYDatabase experience writing SQL DML, designing entity relationship model, developing stored procedures, optimizing queriesA background in financial services or banking environment, and familiarity with regulatory and technology risk requirements preferred Deliverables criteria/results by which success can be measured Understand and provide guidance around best practices to create web services and other appropriate integration endpointsEffective verbal and written communication working closely with business and technology stakeholdersAdhere to architectural standards, and detailed development standardsReview service designs, research options and create recommendations to ensure a successful implementationPerform development and unit testing, working closely with Business Analysts and offshore developersMentor and oversee development of offshore development resources, including reviewing designs and performing code reviewsParticipate in project meetings, contribute to detailed planning sessions for design, build and implementation
