Project/skills 1. Develop technical design specification based on Business requirements for data. (Informatica mappings, Unix scripts, job schedules).2. Code and unit test all components of the ETL processes.3. Ensure data quality through the use of appropriate error handling techniques and reprocessing logic.4. Conduct code reviews and walk through with appropriate Kohl's associates to ensure standards are being followed.5. Prepare Unit test cases.6. Execute and complete unit test cases with actual results, screen shots and pass/fail conditions.7. Prepare system integration test cases8. Execute and complete system integration test cases with actual results, screen shots and pass/fail conditions.9. Prepare the test environment with valid data to enable the report writers to develop Business Object reports.10. Support the report writers in the development of the reports.11. Prepare the test environment with valid data to ensure proper User Acceptance testing.12. Support the business during User Acceptance testing.13. Prepare implementation plans that support Kohl's change management process for promoting new/changed applications into production.14. Provide support for any production issues due to changes being implemented into the production environment.15. Answer user questions and resolve data discrepancies.16. Provide timely status for all project tasks, issues and risks.17. Develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact of issues and risks. 5+ years as an ETL programmer/analyst Informatica Powercenter Create mappings and maplets, Load Data in EDW or data mart, Change Data Capture, History, Archiving, workflows, Informatica repositories; Performance Tuning, UNIX administration of Informatica. 2+ years as a BI developer utilizing Business Objects Universe creation and semantic layer definitions filters,joins, LOV, aggregate aware. MSI experience desirable but not required. Multiple years of programming experience development on a Unix environment utilizing DB2/UDB Exceptional knowledge in database concepts, building stored procedures and data modeling for data warehousesToad, SQL, Embarcadero, unix scripts, stored procedures, ESP or similar job scheduling tool Multiple years experience performing application and system design and troubleshooting tasks. Experience performing oncall support for production applications.
