Summary Business Objects Developer in a lead role with 10 to 12 years of IT industry experience and around 6 years of experience in Business Objects Report and Universe development. Candidate will be responsible for the delivery of BO reports, starting from report requirements gathering, design and development, testing and deployment to production. Job profile Business Objects lead developer using Business Objects XI 3.1 Web Intelligence, Designer Interact and work with an external vendor identify source to report filed mapping. Analyze, design and develop BO universes and reports Understand reporting database, identify joins/tables, perform data analysis Create, maintain and update technical requirements document, design document, mapping document, Issues Log, UT Scripts Implement and recommend industry BI standards and best practices Work as a oneman team and perform all development activities independently Proactively identify problems/issues/risks and provide solutions Provide status updates on regular basis and be committed to aggressive delivery timelines Skills/Knowledge Required 5+ years of Business Objects XI 3.1 WebI report development 10 + years of Business Objects. 5+ years of VERY strong Business Objects XI 3.1 universe development 5+ years of strong database skills Oracle highly preferred Strong in writing complex SQL, functions, stored procedures and ability to perform data analysis Performance tuning/analysis/optimization of reports and SQL Pharmaceutical/Healthcare applications experience is a plus Must have excellent communication and writing skills
