Description
PROJECT DESCRIPTION Currently there exists a need for a Windows Systems Engineer to support the implementation of projects and the system administration of Windows Desktops and Laptops supporting both physical and virtual platforms. Detailed responsibilities include maintaining system scripts, user and group administration, security, tuning and configuration, monitoring, and managing desktop system resources, as well as maintaining infrastructure applications such as Symantec Altiris, Microsoft SCCM, VMWARE VDI, and Symantec Antivirus. Responsible for the testing of new end user hardware and the creation of operating system images to perform on the respected hardware. Assists Senior Systems Analysts with coordinating system availability with IS Operations staff , Business Analysts, and Management.
