Nice to have 0Description Coordinate; manage a project for public libraries in the state with the addition of over 500 computers and 11 video conferencing devices. This position is the lead staff person responsible for all aspects of the project. This position is the lead staff person responsible for all aspects of the Maine State Librarys Public Computing Center project (PCC) including coordination, implementation, compliance, reporting and evaluation. Responsibilities Overall project direction and workflow management Coordination with the National Telecommunications Information Agency (U.S. Department of Commerce), Maine Department of Administrative & Financial Services (DAFS) and Controllers Office for accounting, reporting and compliance with federal requirements and reporting. Communication with the grant partners representing the 107 libraries to verify equipment orders, receipt and installation at each site for audit purposes Coordination of meetings with participants, Maine State Library staff and partners. Obtaining quantitative and qualitative data on community use of deployed equipment for Department of Commerce performance reporting requirements. Developing a work plan with participating libraries and partners to ensure understanding of project goals and reporting requirements Preparing and evaluating Requests for Proposals for hardware, software and services that comply with Maine State Procurement regulations Working in conjunction with the Projects Educational /Training Specialist to accomplish the goals of this project
