Informatica Administrator

Description

Required Skill Sets and Level of Competency Experience as an Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Metadata Manager Administrator or previous application administration experience. Experience analyzing, developing, documenting and implementing ETL process, procedure and workflow in a complex organization with multiple environments (lab, dev, test, prod, etc.), multiple teams and multiple projects using standard and best practices for ETL activities. Experience managing user and group security models. Knowledge of Informatica license management and DataAnalyzer. Experience with Windows and Unix operating systems, including understanding of services and daemons and LDAP authentication. Experience with databases such as DB2, Oracle or SQL. Experience implementing new Informatica applications, connections, etc. Ability to monitor and manage PowerCenter and Metadata Manager. Ability to implement new applications and users/groups for Informatica. Ability to configure PowerCenter and Metadata Manager for optimal performance. Make recommendations for future application infrastructure needs. Ability to promote Informatica mappings from Development to Test and from Test to Production. Experience with deployment groups as well as cut/paste promotions. Ability to implement Informatica workflows into an enterprise job scheduler. Ability to produce system performance and management reports. Knowledge of COMPANY governance policies. Knowledge of COMPANY Infrastructure and Application Environment. Knowledge of COMPANY organizational structure and responsibilities. Ability to integrate PowerCenter architecture with COMPANY architecture. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems. Experience in implementing and upgrading application software. Project management experience.
