Position ResponsibilitiesThe Finance team is seeking a creative Web Developer to design and implement internal web tools and information portal. Specific responsibilities will include working with the team and soliciting management guidance on design; groundup implementation of website; working cooperatively with other team members on backend automation. Candidate must be experienced with PHP development and able to work efficiently, independently, as well as within a small group. Experience with creating, using, and optimizing MySQL databases is expected; some knowledge of control systems (e.g. SVN, git) and other scripting languages is a big plus, but not required.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceExpertise in PHP developmentExperience with creating, using, and optimizing MySQL databases Experience with HTML5Development experience on UNIX systems (ideally Mac OS X)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a small group Preferred Experience Indepth knowledge of other scripting languages, (e.g. Javascript, perl, python, shell scripting)Familiarity with revision control systems (SVN, git)Experience in creating automation tools
