Description

RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the development, integration, testing, delivery and maintenance of high quality automotive vehicle network software for various ECUs Development (design, test, implement and deliver) of advanced camera based algorithms from concept phase to production. Develop application software in compliance with a formal CMM level 3 based Software Development Process and Product Development Process (PDP). Configure and Integrate vehicle NOS core software into several ECUs. Implement customer and application specific requirements related camera systems including Vector or related drivers, bootloader. Planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting of all software related activities for various projects. Support customer meetings as application specific software expert for camerabased systems.REQUIRED SKILLS BS, Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Computer Science, MS desired 510 years of experience in developing software using C in Real Time Embedded software for automotive applications. Development of portable, reusable and modular software in automotive environment. Embedded software development in C for 16 bit and 32 bit microcontrollers including application and low level drivers for multiple microcontrollers such as Star 12/S12X, ST7, ST9, Microchip PICs, TI DSP Experience in developing and implementing software for rear view cameras. Experience in developing and implementing software for various displays and HMI is a plus. Experience in C++/.NET programming for PC applications, VB/VBA programming and/or macros a plus Experience in developing scripts in ScriptFu, Python, perl etc a plus Knowledge of image processing and/or prior experience with vision based products. Knowledge and experience in implementing and integrating OEM specific Automotive Vehicle Networks (CAN and/or LIN) embedded software, diagnostics, production test tool interfaces and bootloader for various OEMs Solid Experience configuring Vector CANembedded, KPIT CAN NOS for various OEMs (e.g. FNOS 1.0.1, FNOS I3v2, FNOS RP, GM LAN, DCX NOS etc) Expertise in using CAN & LIN based tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, neoVI, etc. Experience using a disciplined software development process based on CMM or CMMi process model. Software Configuration Management tool experience preferably MKS Excellent communication and inter personal skills required. This person must work well with other engineers in a team environment. Knowledge of an event driven architecture. Some RealTime OS experience is a plus. Selfmotivation, tenacity, and determination are very useful in this position.
