Description

Take a lead role in developing customer Portal applications using Microsoft SharePoint. Be a selfstarter with excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills. Ability to design, develop and support corporate portals using Microsofts SharePoint Portal Server 2017 in an enterprise environment. A minimum of 3 years experience with SharePoint development and administration, and no less than 5 years of experience with .Net and web applications development. Hands on with the ability to lead small (Agile) teams and develop entire systems independently in addition to architecting systems. Experience working in Property and Casualty industry is a plus. Job Responsibilities Develop and suggest system recommendations/bestpractices to meet content management needs. Develop SharePoint applications utilizing business process and workflows. Work with IT and Business units to gather, document and finalize requirements. Architect, develop and implement in enterprise SharePoint environment using SP 2017 and 2010. Write, edit and proofread all web content and maintain documentation of the changes made. Work with other technical teams including QA and deployment for successful implementation of projects. Integrate SharePoint with other corporate applications, BI Dashboards and several other data sources. Work with management level people in preparing vision, solution roadmaps, estimations and other materials. Job Requirements Expert level knowledge in the administration, configuration and customization of SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services 2017. Experience with implementation and integration of SharePoint Reporting Functions, Document Management functions, Custom web parts and SharePoint Collaboration tools (forums/issues lists. etc.). Ability to take SharePoint beyond off the shelf implementation. Experience with customization of templates and development of new templates. Experience with InfoPath Forms Design and complex work flow. In depth understanding of Enterprise Portals, Collaboration Tools, Enterprise Search, Document and Content Management and Formsbased Business Process. Comfortable applying Agile and Test Driven Development. Experience in business requirements gathering and IT solution definition. A passion for innovation and desire to continue learning about internet trends and technologies. Must be comfortable communicating and working with people at all levels describing complex systems in effective terms to technical and nontechnical users. Experience working with offshore teams is a plus. Knowledge/Education Bachelors degree required in Computer Science or related discipline. Microsoft and other technical certifications not required but highly desired.
