Description
JOB DESCRIPTION Technical evaluation, report, and migration of Magnetic Resonance image reconstruction software from current product hardware to a new, similar Linuxbased platform. Required Skillset Software Engineering in an industry setting (preferably medical device software development) 5+ years of industry experience with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent disciplines. Formal and informal testing experience in an industry environment. Ability to develop, executes, and document stress and reliability tests under the direction of a platform Architect. Experience in Linux installation, configuration, development, and tools (SUSE) Demonstrated proficiency in scripting (Linux/Unix shell, perl) Excellent communication skills including oral and written reports. Excellent problem solving skills Desired Skills Experience building Linux kernels and drivers Network install and familiarity with autoyast based remote install and nested scripts Clearcase Imakebased build tools Server management interfacing (IPMI or equivalent)
