Description
QUALIFICATIONS BSEE / BSET or advanced degree.Experience with sensor system design and analysis, modeling, and signal processing (digital and analog signals).Working knowledge of sensor development and controls implementation as required for electromechanical systems.Proficient with Matlab, Signal Processing toolkit for data analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES Support new technology sensor development program to monitor mechanical subsystems.Help define & execute test plans targeted at understanding/quantifying a new sensor technology. Participate, as needed, in various reviews for the program.Work with mechanical system teams to define optimal sensor strategy. Collaborate with controls team in the development of control algorithms to implement in robust manner. Work with a sensor manufacturer to help guide the productization of the sensor.DESIRED Familiarity with GE Wind work practices & methods.Completed a MS/MA preferred in Electrical Engineering or Physics. Experience with sensor development and signal processing programs.Experience working with a global team.Preferred location is Greenville, SC.
