Description
Scotiabank are looking for an experienced middleware developer to assist with the technical architecture, design and implementation of various technology components associated with this project, and for reuse across other systems within the bank. The IT team is split between New York, Houston and Toronto.The successful candidate will work with the technical project leads to design and develop sophisticated middleware components. Middleware Developer7+ years of experience in Java and J2EE related technologies. Very strong server side Java. Excellent understanding of J2EE architecture, design patterns, open source frameworks and Interface development. Oracle Storing understanding of SQL, query construction, performance tuning. Experience of Build Tools, Java Profiling Tools and Middleware components. Has written framework components which are being used by multiple groups. Additionally, the following would be preferable Experience with Oracle database tuning, monitoring and administrationEnergy, FX business knowledge
