Description
Starbucks needs a DBA to come in and join a team that will be handling the databases that store online inventory data. This data will be used by all distribution centers and stores for ordering and tracking. These databases will also be used by corporate to query reports and inventory tracking. Skills IBM i (iSeries/Systemi) DB2 experience 3 years. 3 years of experience being a DBA on DB2 and using tools like Systemi Navigator, Erwin (or other data modeling tools) Experience with end user client SQL tools like TOAD, AQT, etc. for running queries or managing a database. Understanding how to work with planned caches, index advisories, parallelism, query configuration files and system values are all necessary. Experience optimizing data queries and managing data sets Additional Job Info The duration is initially 3 months but will probably go 69 months if this person performs well.
