Oracle eBusiness System Administrator

Description

Job Description The System Administrator supports the Oracle eBusiness application including iProcurement, Purchasing, Inventory and Order Management and interfaces to and from the application. This role includes setting up security and user management, configuring flexfields, managing concurrent processes and scheduled requests, ensuring compliance with accepted auditing procedures and setting up other essential applications features such as profile options/personalizations. The System Administrator will interact with end users to, troubleshoot problems and /or to test new functionality within the product, provide training, and documentation. Skills Profile Five or more years of systems administration, development or analysis experience Application Security (users, menus, and responsibilities) Understanding of Core Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA), Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management and iProcurement. Setting up System Profiles, Flexfields, Value sets, and Lookups Defining and Managing concurrent programs and managers Resolve Workflow issues. Knowledge of all aspects of the Oracle ERP System Administrator SQL and PL / SQL skills Familiarity with HA (High Availability) and DR (Disaster Recovery) concepts Experience with shared appl_top, 10G application server, and OID/SSO with Oracle ERP 11.5.10/R12 Additional Requirements Must have strong writing and communication skills; able to communicate with technical and business community. Must be able to manage multiple assignments, set priorities and meet deadlines. Analytic thinker takes time to fully understand issues, ask appropriate questions and be able to present solutions and follow through to completion. Must be able and willing to travel within the 5 boroughs of Manhattan to various HHC facilities will be required.
