Oracle Hyperion Project Manager

support technologist & sr level PM's who are leading a s/w build project on the Oracle Hyperion platform. Provide foundational PM components for the team. Specific responsibilities include developing a detailed project plan for the build, testing, training& rollout activities, maintaining the project plan, and tracking progress against the plan. Tracking team assignments and clarifying team responsibilities, preparingexec level materials for steering committees, helping to drive the projects with general coaching & support. Required Mature knowledge of PM principles and ability to appy them in a pragmatic way, focusing on structure and deliverables that are most appropriate to the nature of the project efforts. Exp implementing hyperion tools, specifically Planning, financial reports and web analysis tools. Cost accounting & cost allocations exp desireable. Ability to coach SR Business execs thru the stpes of establishing good project controls, who may have excellent leadership but minimal formal project maangement exp or training. Ability to effectively manage cmoplex matrix reporting situations. Efforts will be split between Rockville and Stockholm Sweden, expect to spend 50% time in each location. Some travel to NY.
