Role Framework SAP Analyst Directly responsible for providing excellent Business Collaboration, Functional Design, System Configuration, Quality Assurance, Release Management, and Level 3 support for Momentive Specialty Chemicals entire core SAP ERP business platform in the Sales & Distribution (SD) functional area and related technologies. 1. Must possess both a very strong business acumen as well as very strong configuration expertise in SAPs Sales & Distribution (SD) functional area, and related technologies, and consistently demonstrate an ability to successfully leverage in Momentive Specialty Chemicals's business environment. a. Robust understanding of current and emerging Hexion business processes. b. SAP standard configuration should be utilized wherever possible. c. Configuration must function properly, be very well tested (internally and with the business) and integrate well with touch points for all other related processes. d. Must provide business user training as expected by the business. e. Configuration must successfully achieve the business challenge. f. Excellent unit, integration and volume testing abilities that verify expectations are successfully met from both an I/T and business perspective. g. Strongly support a First Time Right approach to everything we do. 2. Successfully and rapidly provide Level 3 support for all assigned user provided Tickets in a broad, consistent, collaborative and comprehensive way. a. Consistently demonstrate excellent customer service characteristics. b. Maintain strong and proactive customer collaboration. c. Leverage strong due diligence in ferreting out root causes resolve root cause issues. d. Resolve according to the customers expectations. e. Demonstrate strong sense of urgency in successfully bringing open issues to closure. f. Maintain appropriate prioritization and relay changes to management and the customer. 4. Consistently maintain and demonstrate a clear and comprehensive understanding of SAPs Sales & Distribution Module, and related SAP modules, as well as any internally and externally developed applications. 5. Must be able to design and develop comprehensive specifications for necessary changes and enhancements. a. Must be comprehensive such that any developer can successfully use to perform the requested action (new build, changes, etc). b. Must be designed to not only resolve the initial business requirement but to also support the integrity of the SAP system. 6. Provide assistance, training, and guidance to Hexions Business Team Leads (BTLs), SMEs and the Level 2 support team that allows them to function effectively in their roles. 7. Able to communicate effectively with all levels within the Hexion business, as well as with our customers and partners. 8. Must be a strong selfstarter and able to successfully work independently. 9. Provide very strong collaboration and support for the Functional Team that significantly advances our ability to support the Hexion business. a. Evaluate and train on related newly developed SAP functionality. b. Provide internal training and support to other Team members to smooth out knowledge deficiencies. c. Maintain exceptional documentation and job aids that are consistently developed, highly informative, and centrally obtainable. Role Measurements SAP Functional Specialists (SFS) 1. Clearly demonstrate a very high understanding of related SAP configuration 2. Clearly demonstrate business acumen and process understanding. 3.
