Role Description Support infrastructure and technical resources for IBM System I infrastructure (Sun Solaris / AIX 5.3) Main scope is on Hardware, OS and DB level activities and operations Work with operations staff to address any critical issues, backups and restore procedures Help the monitoring of Unix environments ( preproduction and productions ) Help the critical housekeeping operations on the different environments Help space and other storage related activities with vendors such as EMC and SAN group Skills UNIX AIX EMC Sun Solaris DB2
