Description
The hired candidate in this position focuses on the actual development and support of HRApplications within the Corporate Compensation area and may be involved in design sessions with the team. Development and support include compensation directives including yearend recommendation and employee performance processes. 6+ years experience with enterpriselevel relational databases, with very strong database skills (Oracle and MS SQL Server) including demonstrated skills in creating stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, joins, indexes, etc. Exposure to full lifecycle of database and reports development is needed; candidates with strong relational and/or dimensional data modeling skills, Cognos report 8 along with data warehousing experience will be strongly preferred. 35 years of Java, including Java serverside experience in a J2EE environment, experience with JDBC and JDK 1.4/1.5 with JSP and Servlets development, Websphere / LDAP / SiteMinder application server integration, preferably in a Human Resource environment. Handson knowledge with JSP, Servlets, JSTL, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, DHTML, JSON, DOJO and distributed architecture concepts and development techniques is desirable. Exposure in implementing DTS and/or ETL Experience in SDLC (specifically Unit Testing and Integration Testing phases) Must possess time management skills in a busy environment.and resolve issues promptly. Demonstrated track record of success, excellent teamoriented skills. Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
