Description
Role The ideal candidate will join a quickly growing agile team in the development of a new web product that is targeted for Beta launch within an aggressive timeframe. We are looking for an experienced handson Ruby on Rails developer who has experience with leveraging Rails best practices and is willing to find a path to success by researching and recommending alternatives when faced with challenging situations. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldRuby on Rails development and architecture experienceNginx, Mongrel, GIT, Capistrano, Memcached and other services supporting RailsCentral in the development of at least 1 ROR production systemApplies OOD and Design Patterns to software design & problem solvingTackled clustering/caching, threading and performance issuesWorked in a fast paced agile environment with continuous integration, unit/integration/load/performance testingRDBMS experience including schema design and content modelingStrong command of web standards and best practices
