Description

Currently seeking a technical/functional PeopleSoft consultant for a 12 month contract to implement and integrate a new instance of EProfile 9.1 in their efforts to establish a skills inventory of their internal staff. The ideal candidate will have a 50/50% split of technical development skills within PeopleSoft and functional skills in gathering requirements from the business. From a technical perspective, need a resource that has in depth experience with PeopleSoft HRMS modules specifically with implementing EProfile 9.1 and EPM. In addition to implementing EProfile 9.1, the resource needs to have in depth knowledge of establishing data warehouse capabilities and experienced in utilizing ETL tools to extract data from the existing systems and loading it into the new system. It is highly prefered that the resource has experience using DataStage for the ETL tool, but would consider candidates having used another ETL tool like Informatica. The selected candidate must be willing to be hands on in both the design and development of the implementation. The manager specifically stated he is not looking for a resource to soley participate in architecture and design, but someone who can lead the analysis, design, and actively participate in the development as well. From a functional perspective, seeking a resource who can work with the business in gathering requirements and has the knowledge of the systems functionality to work with the business in setting proper expectations of the new system. Top 3 Skills Required 1) experience implementing PeopleSoft EProfile 9.1 into an existing PeopleSoft HRMS system (either 9.0 or 9.1) 2) experience extracting data from an exisiting PeopleSoft HRMS system and loading into a new data warehouse environment using an ETL tool (preferably DataStage, but will consider other ETL tools) 3) 5+ years of technical and functional PeopleSoft HRMS experience (technical meaning having development with PeopleCode; functional meaning having experience gathering business reqs) Additional Information (Candidates should have a mix of both the technical and functional expert qualifications) PeopleSoft Technical Expert Technical resources understand the technical intricacies of the PeopleSoft suite of tools and have the ability to use / manipulate same. These resources will create custom interfaces, standard and custom reports, and address database and system performance issues, setup hardware and software for the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture, apply patches and fixes issued by Oracle, setup and monitor batch processing and create adhoc reports / query processing and provide technical upgrade services.
