Salesforce Application Architect

Description

The candidate will be responsible for defining the Salesforce.com and related cloud computing solutions and architectural standards while working closely with internal/external technical team(s). Candidate will lead and enforce technical standards and establish review criteria, manage review processes, drive standardization and reduce customization. Essential ResponsibilitiesProvides expertise in the business processes supported by the application. Provides knowledge & guidance for technical integrations of all internal applications including assistance in vendor selections. Collaborates with other architects and development teams to define hardware/software requirements, plan and execute the integration of acquisition applications and corporate initiatives, and coordinate project schedules, budgets, management requests and work authorizations. Collects, verifies, and documents application technical procedures and standards.Proactively seeks application best practices to gain a deeper knowledge of corporate preferred tools. Writes technical approach and design documentation and coordinates with other, internal technical teamsDevelops required technical solutions that adhere to good coding standardsHelps evaluate new Salesforce.com releases and App Exchange tools for feasibility and impactActs as an internal consultant to the CRM team Designs monitoring requirements to ensure integration integrity and reportability.Qualifications/Requirements Basic QualificationsBachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) with 8+ years experience working with application technologies.Technical experience working with ASP, JSP, JAVA, Oracle, SQL, C++, Win NT, UNIX, Object Oriented design, Internet web services technologies. Experience in package integration.1+ year experience with Force.com, including, APEX, Visual Force, Triggers, Sites, WorkflowKnowledge of enterprise systems; ERP, CRM or SFA
