BCBS is looking for a Sr. ITS consultant. ITS is a vendor package, created by Blue Cross Blue Shield Association that facilitates uniform interaction and interface between all Blue networks. ITS processes claims for Blue members receiving services in/out of network, but doesnt' process unicare members. When a Blue member obtains services from an outofnetwork provider, the two blue networks communicate with each other through ITS software during the processing of the claim. This architecture enables all state plans to develop a practical approach to maximizing benefits while minimizing claims cost and risks. ITS enables Home/Host plans to adjudicate claims and service their subscribers to assure that benefits are administered uniformly no matter where the services are rendered. Job This project will involve migrating the current system to a platform hosted by the BCBS Association. ITS consultant is responsible for analyzing the existing systems and its processes and developing a model that outlines the future processes for the PlanConnexion migration. This candidate must have an clear understanding of ITS/Blue 2 software architecture, applications, tools, and utilities. Required skills are as followed 8 years of experience working on ITS related projects including both home and host processing. Experience mapping and modelling existing ITS processes and future ITS processes Indepth understanding of ITS/Blue2 software architecture, applications, tools, and utilities. Must have prior experience with all ITS transactions SF,DF,RF. Desired experience with supporting or enhancing ITS modules such as UPF,OPL,SIRF,PDF/MEF, OEC Experience with IMS, CICS.
