Position Description Configure, troubleshoot and maintain securityrelated technologies Lead in security technology design, implementation and ongoing support Assume project lead and ownership for assigned projects Conduct information systems vulnerability assessments and penetration testing Provide information security technology consultation for I/S projects Create and maintain detailed installation, configuration and support documentation Assist in IT security incident investigation and response Lead application security assessments and Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Management, related disciplines or equivalent experience Eight or more years experience in IT Five or more years direct IT Security experience Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices Strong understanding of Windows, Linux and UNIX computing technologies and architectures including secure configuration of these operating systems Strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory capabilities and design Strong understanding of networking concepts, infrastructure components and protocols including wireless, firewalls and networkbased intrusion detection/prevention Strong understanding of secure remote access technologies, including VPN, SSL, SSH and multifactor authentication mechanisms Knowledge of vulnerabilities, exploits and threats common to I.T. infrastructure Knowledge of data and network encryption technologies and processes, including key management Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and techniques Experience conducting security penetration testing, including wireless technologies Experience with centralized security event logging and monitoring solutions Effective project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and balance multiple projects to successful completion Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team member Adaptability, analytical and problemsolving ability, and attention to detail A high level of integrity and trust Strong written and verbal communications skills Must show enthusiasm, initiative and commitment toward delivering quality results and a Commitment to Publix and our Mission.
