Product Summary Secondary Market Intelligence (SMi) is the client's LPC's comprehensive source for secondary loan market news, data and analytics. This Internetbased product empowers users with the essential and timely information they need to make wellinformed buy/sell/hold decisions by enabling users to monitor and analyze specific loans or entire portfolios by overall market conditions or by specific market sectors. The latest version of the product, launched this June 2005, incorporates a European interface offering users all the features and functionalities custom tailored to the EMEA secondary market trends and demands. What makes SMi unique is that it not only delivers daily loan but also bond and equity pricing information, news, terms and conditions in one interactive desktop platform. SMi(tm) draws from several information sources including the client's LPC's Global MarktoMarket Pricing Services, which currently provide global cross asset coverage and monitoring of over 4,750 loans from over 1,700 active secondary issuers, as well as comprehening the client's bond and equity data.Those filling this position will be assisting in a large scale data migration project. They will be evaluating the current data load process, and reengineering a solution to load data from Sybase ASE to SQL Server 2005 on a nightly basis. Analyzing schemalevel and rowlevel differences between Sybase ASE and SQL Server 2005 will be required, as will be writing SQL scripts and C# programs to import and export the data.
