The Assistant PM HIPAA 5010 Integration will plan, execute, and manage project remediation activities to ensure full compliance based on the HIPAA 5010 regulatory requirements.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with the integration project management activities to ensure 100% HIPAA 5010 compliance.Assist in ensuring that the Integration for all impacted Host applications are able to send and receive all current 4010 transactions (837s, 835s, 270/271, 276/277) as well as all new, revised 5010 transactions (837s, 835s, 270/271, 276/277).Assist in partnering with the thirteen (13) CHW business offices to coordinate testing and cutover transitions.Assist in developing and implementing the Trading Partner testing and transition strategy.Assist in refining the application project plan to include tasks, schedule, and budget with feedback from CHW IT application teams.Assist in managing the implementation budget estimate and integrate it into the overall recommended program budget.Assist in engaging with other project stakeholders to coordinate and ensure adequate crossteam communication is provided and project targets are met per the application remediation plan.Assist in coordinating with peers to ensure project conflicts are appropriately avoided or managed.Assist in managing issues, risks, and decisions.QUALIFICATIONSFouryear degree in a technology field, e.g., CIS, MIS or equivalent experience.PMI/PMP certification is desirable.EXPERIENCE3+ years of experience managing IT application implementations or upgrades.Project management for PRC (patient revenue cycle) and/or clinical experience desirable.Experience working in a large scale integrated delivery network.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES REQUIREDStrong knowledge of the Healthcare industry from the provider perspective.Experience working with Healthcare payers and intermediaries.Proven track record of successfully implementing or upgrading PRC (patient revenue cycle) or clinical applications.Awareness of EDI transaction processing, e.g. claims, remittance advice, enrolment/eligibility, etc.Highlevel understanding of HIPAA 4010A1 and general understanding of the impacts to IT systems as a result of the HIPAA 5010 regulations.Strong interpersonal, leadership, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills.Strong knowledge of Unit testing, Integration testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance testing.Travel can be expected to not exceed 10% (depending on home location) with reasonable expenses to be reimbursed by CHW and may include visits to various CHW hospitals locations in California, Nevada, and Arizona.
