Description
Minimum 4 years experience as an Oracle DBA in the design, testing, implementation and administration of systems using Oracle RDBMS B.S. Degree PL/SQL programming Oracle utilities RMAN, export/import, data pump, SQLLoader, SQLPlus Oracle backup and recovery methodologies including RMAN Database performance and tuning (AWR, Statspack, SQL trace) Shell Scripting Linux / Windows Ability to manage multiple production, validation and development Oracle environments Operating System experience on Linux and Windows. VMS experience desirable.Candidates must be willing and able to participate in offhours support when needed. Experience working in an environment governed by a formal software development methodology is strongly desired. The following are also required excellent interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork skills, problem solving skills, troubleshooting skills, as well as being a selfstarter and selfmotivator.
