Description
Description Undergraduate Degree in Information Systems or related discipline. 6 + years related experience including control and development of standards. Skill and experience in supporting DB2 with DPF V 9.5 and higher running on the AIX platforms. DB2 DWE experience is a plus. Competent to work at highest level of all technical phases while working on own most of the time. Excellent analytical, consultative, communication skills and report writing ability. Strong Skills in DB2 ESE and DB2 ESE with DPF (DB2 EEE). Understanding of AIX OS. Understanding of Database Design as well as Database Modeling. Experience with scripting in Unix and ksh. Strong problem solving skills. Strong SQL skills. Experience with Database performance and tuning. Experience with System performance and tuning.
