Principal Responsibilities Produce Method of Procedures that demonstrate understanding of changes proposed and how the change will be executed with minimal service impact. Manage change control schedules and approvals for all change related requests globally. Manage the coordination and escalation process for all change requests. Follow global change management procedures and best practices for implementation. Be diligent and detail oriented in execution of planned changes. Consistently meet the SLA's set with the client for the services provided. Continually assesses network configurations for conciseness, efficiency, and ease of maintenance. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external technical, business, and support groups, including vendor/partner relationships. Providing technology leadership and direction within specific network technologies, where individual will fulfill role of Subject Matter Expert within the team. Be available 24/7 to respond to emergency situations and perform regularly scheduled maintenance. Proactively seek ways to improve existing processes through the use of automation. Experience/Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to solve problems quickly and completely. Ability to identify tasks which require automation and automate them. Ability to create reports on trend \ gap analysis and provide recommendation to address the risks. Must be able to sustain a high rate of workflow and work on multiple projects. Knowledge of network security technologies, specifically firewalls, internet proxies, IPS, and other security platforms. Experience in configuring, managing and supporting network security policies and platforms such as firewalls, IPS proxy devices. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, IP Addressing, routing, IP internetworking technologies Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP), Multicast, VPN, ACLs, NAT, VRRP, NSRP. Knowledge of VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree protocol. Experience with Authentication services such as TACACS+, RADIUS, and RSA SecurID. Experience with Network Monitoring and Performance tools Highly selfmotivated and ability to work independently in a global team environment.
