Description
We are looking for a PL/SQL developer to work on interfaces between legacy environments into Oracle. This person will also work on SQL tuning of the interfaces. Excellent communication skills Ability make decisions effectively Ability to meet targeted deadlines with minimal supervision. Technical Skills Required 1. SQL, PL/SQL, tkprof, Explain Plan, Oracle SQL Performance Tuning/Optimizing 2. XML, Java, Windows Batch scripting 3. Oracle 9i and 11g, IBM WebSphere, ClearCase, ClearQuest, TOAD/TOAD SQL Optimizer 4. Object Oriented Design, Database Design Concepts, Data Modeling Additional Skills/Qualities not required but would be a plus 1. Ability to perform analysis and design for software using industry standard modeling tools. 2. Proficient in the use of software development tools and techniques in software projects (including use of integrated development environments, profilers, debuggers and performance monitoring tools related to the architects core area of expertise). 3. Present information and communicate effectively with clients, team members and management. 4. Knowledge of crossplatform design and development experience
