Description The Contractor will be working on Identity Management. Provides technical expertise in the area of systems security for the client. Participates in IT security programs and initiatives that implement information security processes and services across client. Provides support to department activities/projects to ensure timely deliverables to internal and external business partners and affiliates. Researches regulatory requirements related to information security. Assists management and peers in the development of technology and procedures for incorporating compliance and regulatory requirements. Provides reporting information to the Information Security department and IT leadership. Responsible for tracking, managing and resolving security related incidents and events which occur within the corporate security monitoring system. Provides system and application security impact assessment to the IS department and leadership team. Contributes to the development of technology designed to identify security threats in order to proactively notify stakeholders. Contributes to the development of solutions which balance appropriate levels of information security related risk with business requirements. Participates in the preparation of the companywide IS strategic plan. Keeps updated on new threats/vulnerabilities to corporate systems and the industry in order to provide proactive solutions. Develops security incident reports, takes evidencebased approach including proactive prevention recommendations and incident closure. Participates in upgrades and system maintenance including the daily operation of the corporate security compliance software suite.Required Skills The following Experience for the IT Security Developer needed Sun Identity Manager. Xpress programming. Java programming. Hands on development experience.Experience in/with Information security field. Information technology field/environment with demonstrated technical skills. Project teams dealing with moderately complex technical issues. Developing, implementing and supporting moderately complex information systems. One or more aspects of network and application security (e.g. Firewalls, IDS, IPS, proxies, routing, switching, application security model). Assisting in the development of information security policies, intrusion response procedures, risk analysis and administering the operations of a complex security infrastructure. Support of information security policies that may include intrusion response procedures, risk analysis, etc. Identifying, analyzing and resolving complex problems.Working knowledge of One of more of the following languages XPRESS, C, C++, Python, Perl, PHP, ASP, SQL, C# and /or Java. Design, engineering and administrative aspects of at least two of the following system platforms Mainframe, Wintel, UNIX or network. Excellent presentation, persuasion, written and interpersonal skills to include procedure and technical material, report/proposal preparation and oral presentation.Ability to Discern security incidents by analyzing logs and events from various logs. Organize, analyze and independently solve complex problems. Clearly communicate security controls and practices contained in the information security policies. Work proactively and independently.Preferred Qualifications Identity Management. Strong background in LDAP. Strong Unix background especially in Linux. Understanding of Application Servers and J2EE applications. Hands on experience and implementation knowledge of the Sun Identity Manager Suite. Hands on experience and implementation knowledge of the Sun Access Manager and Open SSO product. Strong IT background including TCP/IP networking.
