SQL Server Developer

Description

Physical database tables and design, works with system administrator and uses data dictionary software packages to ensure data integrity and security, recovers corrupted data and eliminates data redundancy. Uses tuning tools to improve database performance. Works with the application development teams, focusing on the backend portion of data storage considerations and performance considerations for application systems being developed. This position is for an Application DBA/SQL Server Developer. The group works in what is called the integration office. Whenever new development initiatives are underway, the SQL Server developer will work with the application/web developers to determine the database requirements, space considerations, integration issues, performance considerations, as well as the actual development of the databases, SSIS/DTS packages, views, indexes and stored procedures. This is basically the test/dev environment prior to applications being released to production. Expert SQL developer experience. SQL programming, Writing stored procedures, Understanding existing data models Creating new data models or additions Writing SSIS, Writing DTS Packages, Expert level knowledge in SQL programming.
