Description
Seeking to engage a strong SQL Server DBA to facilitate the implementation of a third party package that uses SQL Server 2018 as the backend data source. This SQL Server DBA will also be responsible for instantiating SQL Server administration best practices, architecture solutions for High Availability and for supporting any custom database development work needed to deploy the third party application. The candidate must have extensive background in SQL Server administration and development. This role requires a mix of DBA and developer skills. In addition to database installation and maintenance, this candidate will participate in all phases of project including analysis, design, development, testing and deployment. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills. The candidate will work closely with the Application development teams and provide DBA support. Prior experience in Media/Entertainment industry is preferred. This position is based in the NY Metro area (midtown). Responsibilities
