ResponsibilitiesResearches, designs, and writes software based on Microsoft technologies (.Net, C#, Silverlight) to specifications, either individually or leading a team of other developers.Develops high availability and highly scalable applications which will be hosted on Dell.com and also will be used by offline sales teams.Works with clients and Business Analysts to determine software requirements and system impactsGenerates technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests Mentors junior developers in industry best practices, procedures, and conceptsInvestigates new technologies and techniques and researches ongoing industry developmentsWorks closely with the Global Solution Architecture team, other senior Solution Architects and the executives within the Enterprise Architecture group to plan ongoing feature development, product maintenance, and management of development teams Required Skills Engineering Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experienceA minimum of 810 total years of software development experience, with at least 5 years designing enterprisescale architectureExpertise in most of the following .Net Framework, C#, Transact Sql, Web Services, Ajax, JavaScript, JSON, SOAP, REST.Strong knowledge of distributed communication systems such as Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).Microsoft SQL Server database.Performance tuning experience is must.Project and task oriented with a focus on details.Good communication and interpersonal skillsDesired Skills Familiar with Agile Software Development Methodologies (SCRUM).Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Microsoft unit testing framework, NUnit etc. Familiar with Performance analysis tools.Knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).Experience using Windows Workflow Foundation.
