Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Description

This position is for a Software Developer with heavy PL/SQL skills in an Oracle environment with extensive Oracle Data Base background and knowledge (minimum 10g). Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps Uses coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality Participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and selection of software solutions Perform project management of estimating, scheduling, and monitoring tasks Performs expertlevel tasks associated with the analysis, design, and development of computer hardware, firmware, embedded systems, and/or operating systems Develop, maintain, and report metrics Interface with different departments within the organization regarding new deployments Research/analyze data processing functions, methods and procedures Monitor program execution for expected performance 5 7 years experience using PL/SQL Experience with Oracle 10g/11g in a database or other high volume, batch processing environment Indepth knowledge of advanced SQL and Oraclespecific extensions, such as analytic and table functions, MODEL clause, etc. Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills Experience in telephony billing a plus Agile development skills a plus Ability to work independently
