Oracle Developer Requirements Definition / System Design Able to quickly understand business issues & challenges of organization Reviews requirements, business specifications, business processes and recommends proposed solution. Assists in developing functional specifications Prior insurance knowledge (group insurance preferable) Technical Execution Assists with development efforts Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development Stored Procedures, Triggers, Procedures, Functions. Experience with Oracle Forms Ability to read and work from technical design documents Ability to analyze query plans and optimize code Knowledge of relational database design Strong analytical, debugging, and problemsolving skills Preferred Skills Oracle PL/SQL Oracle Forms Oracle Reports Experience using TOAD, PVCS, Mercury Quality Center Oracle ProC Unix O/S Shell Scripting Project Execution Communicates & manages project activities in accordance with defined standards Communication Assists in the facilitation of team and client meetings Delivers informative, wellorganized presentations Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully Teamwork Facilitates effective team interaction.
