These consutants are going to have to be on top of their game. It is an extremely fast paced, demanding environment. We are looking for proactive, out of the box thinkers. Those that do not wait for direction, but will find a way to help out if there is any down time. He wants consultants who are willing to do what it takes to get the job done. That means if they have a question, chase down the answerif they are going back in forth in an email to stop and pick the phone up and call or go see the person. They are currently working 7am 7pm and an alternate night shift may be a possibility. That means that it is ok for them to come in early sometimesand stay late sometimes. He is not asking them to do it for free..tries hard not to have anyone work overtime or on weekends.however, the job sometimes calls for it. I will always be flexible in any overtime work.Developers need to be ASP.Net experts. Preferably experienced in all layers presentation, service and data but they MUST have a strong understanding of the data (SQL). Client has asked about populating tables, outer joins and inner joins, and experience with application blocks in previous interviews. Web portal development and/or insurance/claims would be plusses. Skills set is ASP.NET, Ajax, LINQ, WCF, Web Services, excellent comm. skills.
