Job Summary The Senior Software Engineer is a motivated, productoriented, passionate individual who can bring and share their strong enterpriselevel, webbased software design and development experience with other engineering team members delivering consumerfacing, multitenant, quality enterprise solutions. In addition to application design and development, this individual will help set new standards and processes in place and help determine technology direction. This individual will also have front end and back end experience and be able to develop presentation, business and data layers and come from a structured development environment.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Codes, tests, debugs and documents software applications using established coding standards and methodologiesWork within an agile scrum team, contributing to an atmosphere of continuous improvementSelfstarter and selforganized able to work with little or no supervisionWork with technical leaders in establishment of coding standards and best practicesPerform code and process reviews to ensure adherence to best practicesWork with architects, designers, business analysts and others to design and implement high quality software solutionsUnderstands how to interpret database models and effectively collaborate with Database EngineersAssist product owners in backlog grooming, story breakdown and story estimationCollaborate and communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders throughout the organizationDocument software changes for use by other engineers, quality assurance and documentation specialistsMaster the technologies, languages, and practices used by the team and project assignedTrain others in the technologies, languages, and practices used by the teamTrouble shoot and resolve issues in existing softwareEducationBA/BS in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent work experienceMinimum Qualifications Mastered programming concepts, including object oriented programmingMastered technologies and tools utilized by team and project assignedAble to train others on general programming concepts and specific technologiesMinimum 6 years experience developing software applicationsSkills/Knowledge Must be proficient in advanced programming skills and proficient in one or more of the following languages(Specific languages needed will vary based on development department or project)Angular 2, JavaScript, C#, .NET 4.5, ASP.NET, HTML5 & CSS, SQL, MVC, Entity Data Model/LINQAmazon Web Services (AWS), Microservices, API Development, DockerUnit testing, Test Driven Development, Agile/Scrum/Kanban/DevOpsStrong problemsolving skillsOutstanding communications and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to multitaskAbility to work within an agile scrum framework and team, promoting an atmosphere of continuous improvementAbility to track software issues to successful resolutionAbility to work in a collaborative fast paced environmentAbility to learn new development language quickly and apply that knowledge effectivelyMS Windows operating system functionalityMS Office and productivity related applicationsMust have Angular 2, C#, .NET 4.5, ASP.NET, Microservices.
