Qualifications Translate business requirements and highlevel design documents into clear implementation lowlevel design documentsDevelop, enhance, debug, support, maintain of DataStage code and conduct detail unit testing of end to end functionality.Ensure code is well maintained using source code version control.Support production release rollouts.8+ years handon experience of IBM DataStage (8.7 or higher) development with complex highvolume databases.Strong knowledge of optimization approaches using DataStage.2+ years Experience in Teradata data modeling, data loading, data extraction.5+ years Experience in Oracle (9i or above) database.2+ years experience on Teradata script (BTeq) development.Experience in Job scheduling.Experience with implementation of NoSQL Databases & Distributed Computing solutions.Knowledge on Bigdata concepts is big plus. Moving data from HDFS into relational database through ETLUnix/Linux and Shell script knowledge is required.Experience with Agile SDLC methodology is a plus.Retail background is plus.Innovative thinking to solve challenging problems.Results oriented with an ability to work in team and individual contributor work environments.Strong organization skills with good interpersonal skills and a customer service oriented attitude.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
