QA Test Analyst

Project Scope Field Tools provides web and mobile applications that enhance and support our ability to plan, grow, harvest and compensate our growers. Project and Responsibilities Design, write and execute test cases to meet acceptance criteria for new functionality, enhancements, nonfunctional requirements and defectsIdentify and perform tests on data requirements, record test results and track defect statusParticipate in and assemble test plans, which will include functional tests, regression tests, application, integration and user security testing, user acceptance testing and performance & load testingParticipate in defect resolution and retestingDemonstrate personal initiative to work through questions and test reviews with team membersBuild and maintain relationships, and actively collaborate with cross functional team members and testersWork collaborativelyWrite SQL to query and validate test results in a databasePerform mobile device tests Skills / Experience Education and experience Competencies Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field7 or more years testing experience on webbased, clientserver or mobile applications or equivalent levels of related industry experienceExperience translating user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams and other nonfunctional requirements into test casesDemonstrated understanding of test plans with attention to detailsPersonal initiative and sense of accountability to work through issues and achieve resolutionProficient at problemsolving, and participation in continuous improvementStrong communication, documentation, planning and decision making skillsExperience writing SQL queries and data validationExperience testing mobile applications is desiredAgile/Scrum experience preferred
