Description
Job Description A Fortune 500 client in Downtown Milwaukee has an immediate opening for a Informatica Developer.Description Provide timely and efficient support of data processing jobs and repositories within the teams portfolio Perform analysis and investigation into root cause of problems and proposing solutions for resolution Provide oncall support during daytime hours to ensure continuous support for ongoing production application availability Assist with the planning and implementation of upgrades, improvements, or enhancements to the current data platform Create and maintain data and systems processing specifications and documentationBased on the skills and experience level, person would be on either an operational support team handling incidents, problem tickets, bug fixes or they would be part of a delivery team delivering new Informatica ETL feeds. Strong SQL knowledge including writing and review complex SQL statements and performance tuning to handle scale, agility, and changes Handson experience designing, implementing, and supporting ETL data solutions with the Informatica PowerCenter or Power Exchange ETL tools Experience with database technologies including relational databases such as DB2 or Sybase. Operational experience in Linux/Unix environments, scripting languages (e.g. Shell), and workload automation technologies (e.g. Autosys) Knowledge of Netezza appliance systems with handson development experience in Netezza development tools and stored procedures
