Responsibilities Create and manage change to the SFDC platform Collaborate with the business / marketing teams to determine how technology can be applied to solve business problemsModify the system to increase benefits and usabilityManage new releases of SFDC and efficiently roll out new featuresHelp identify new tools / technologies that can help drive business growthDevelop and manage minor changes to our intranet, OpenBar, hosted on Force.com. Some Apex and VisualForce development is requiredEnsure any changes being deployed by partners into the environment adhere to our standards and best practicesBuild out standards for development and administration of the platformHandle ongoing customization/alteration of Salesforce.com.Manage the change control process for Salesforce.comParticipate in software design reviews, code reviews, etc. to ensure solutions are designed to meet business needsHelp identify new tools / technologies that can help drive business growthCore Java and / or APEX development is requiredFamiliarity or strong interest in cloud based platforms such as SFDC, Heroku, API Management Tools (Apigee, Mashery), etc. While you do not need to be a client side specialist, working knowledge of HTML / CSS / JS / AJAX is requiredDesire to work in an Agile/SCRUM based delivery models Maintain the existing SFDC platform Manage all existing sandboxes, metadata and data in the existing organization including identifying and removing components no longer in use keeping the environment as clean as possibleMaintain existing data feeds from various platforms including JDA and EDW through ODIMaintain existing Heroku Connect instances moving data between Salesforce and HerokuManage user access, review license requirements and ensure we have a robust permission model (profiles, permission sets, etc.)Monitor and manage exception logs for back end system integration with SFDCBe the company SME on Salesforce.com Other Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, etc. to ensure solutions are designed to meet business needs While you do not need to be a client side specialist, working knowledge of HTML / CSS / JS / AJAX is required Desire to work in an Agile/SCRUM based delivery models Requirements Our ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience of Salesforce administration experience Solid written and verbal communication; strong interest and ability to collaborate with business stakeholders Strong problemsolving skills Salesforce.com Administrator certification is required, other Salesforce certifications are a plus. 4+ years of experience software development (Technical Skills Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, APEX, etc.). J2EE, Web Services, Spring, etc. Experience with iOS development a significant plus
